PeekMed
PeekMed, a Portuguese MedTech company developing Artificial Intelligence solutions for the orthopedic industry, and Dedalus Group, a global leader in healthcare software solutions, have announced a strategic partnership to offer seamless integration between PeekMed AI-based pre-operative system and DeepUnity, Dedalus’ most advanced PACS system.
The partnership will enable orthopedic surgeons to access PeekMed’s advanced planning tools directly from DeepUnity, without the need to switch between different platforms. This will improve the workflow efficiency, accuracy, and outcomes of orthopedic procedures, as well as enhance communication and collaboration between surgeons and patients.
The partnership began in the DACH market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), where both PeekMed and Dedalus have a strong presence and customer base. This partnership holds the potential to extend to other regions, as is already happening in Brazil, where the two companies have an ongoing project.
João Pedro Ribeiro, Co-Founder & CEO of PeekMed, said: “We are very excited to partner with the Dedalus Group, one of the largest PACS manufacturers in the world. This partnership will allow us to reach more surgeons and patients worldwide, and to offer them a more streamlined and integrated experience with our system. We believe that by combining our strengths, we can deliver more value, a more sustainable process, and better outcomes for the orthopedic community.”
Michael Strüter, Sales Manager and Managing Director Dedalus HealthCare GmbH, also referred: “With PeekMed as our new partner, we can offer our customers a highly functional, perfectly integrated planning solution for implants and prostheses in the operating theatre. First joint installations have shown that the modern PeekMed AI-based pre-operative system makes the treatment process more efficient and increases patient safety.”
By integrating both PeekMed and Dedalus solutions, it is possible to offer a complete and integrated platform that covers the entire spectrum of orthopedic care, from diagnosis to treatment planning and follow-up. The goal is to address the needs and challenges of the orthopedic sector.
