On February 8th, we celebrated the successful inauguration of PeekMed's new office in Warsaw, Indiana, United States. This occasion marks a significant step forward for PeekMed LLC, our recently established formal subsidiary, as we actively expand our presence in the American orthopedic market.
Warsaw, Indiana, often recognized as the ‘Orthopedic Capital of the World’, stood out as the ideal location for our office. This vibrant city is renowned for its rich history and global leadership in orthopedic manufacturing and innovation. By establishing our presence here, we aim to further integrate into the heart of the orthopedic community and contribute to the continued growth of this industry.
Our CEO, João Pedro Ribeiro, explained that “We ended up choosing Warsaw for a couple of reasons. So, the first one really is Warsaw is still the worldwide capital of orthopedics. And there’s this intention of keeping this position on the digital side, not only on the manufacturing of metal and plastic but also on the digital. And that’s pretty much us. And that’s why we ended up selecting Warsaw. The other reason was that we felt very welcomed here in the community.”
In conjunction with our office inauguration, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Patrick Henry as our US General Manager. With over 3 decades of invaluable experience, including tenure at Smith & Nephew where he was US Vice President of Commercial Marketing of Recon, Patrick brings extensive knowledge and expertise about the American orthopedic market. His leadership will be instrumental in driving PeekMed's growth and success in the region.
Patrick Henry, our new US General Manager, stated that “I am very excited to be leading the PeekMed team as we enter the US Market. There is so much opportunity, across a number of orthopedic procedures, to assist in preoperative planning. After 30 years of working on the implant side, it is really exciting to see how technology is helping to evolve the industry.
