Sustainability at PeekMed: Five Years of Impact and Progress

At PeekMed, sustainability has never been a standalone initiative; it has been a continuous journey shaped by our commitment to responsible innovation in healthcare.

We are proud to share our 2025 Sustainability Report, marking five consecutive years of Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting. This milestone offers an opportunity not only to reflect on the progress made over the past year but also to look back at how sustainability has become an integral part of how we operate, innovate, and grow.

A Year of Responsible Innovation

Throughout 2025, we continued to advance our mission of improving healthcare outcomes while ensuring that innovation is developed with safety, ethics, and long-term impact in mind.

A key milestone this year was the FDA clearance of our AI-powered 2D-to-3D knee reconstruction technology. By enabling the generation of accurate 3D models from standard X-rays in under 20 seconds with no human intervention, this innovation reduces reliance on more resource-intensive imaging methods while supporting faster and more efficient clinical decision-making.

This progress reflects our broader commitment to developing technology that not only enhances clinical outcomes but also contributes to a more sustainable and accessible healthcare system.

Reducing Impact Through Digital Healthcare

As a fully software-based solution, PeekMed is inherently aligned with more sustainable healthcare practices. By eliminating the need for physical materials and optimizing workflows, our technology contributes to reducing waste and improving resource efficiency across the surgical pathway.

In 2025, this impact continued to grow. Our solution helped reduce surgical implant waste by 6 %to 8%, while also contributing to significant cost savings associated with sterilization processes. At the same time, it supported a meaningful reduction in single-use plastic associated with surgical workflows and enabled faster, more efficient clinical processes.

Beyond our product, we continued to improve our internal operations by optimizing our cloud infrastructure, adopting energy-efficient equipment, and promoting flexible and remote work models, contributing to a lower overall environmental footprint. At the same time, innovations such as our AI-powered 2D-to-3D technology also contribute to broader environmental and social impact by reducing reliance on resource-intensive imaging methods like CT scans, lowering patient exposure to radiation, and making advanced surgical planning possible in settings where only this imaging modality is available. This approach helps expand access to high-quality care across different healthcare settings, supporting more equitable outcomes while reducing the need for complex imaging infrastructure.

People at the Core of Our Growth

Our progress is reflected not only internally, but also in the experience of those who use our technology. In 2025, we maintained a strong level of customer satisfaction, with users rating their experience at 4.4 out of 5, reinforcing the value we deliver to healthcare professionals and partners worldwide.

This is only possible because of our people. In 2025, we remained focused on building a workplace that is inclusive, balanced, and supportive of both individual and organizational growth.

We maintained a gender-balanced team, with women representing 50% of our workforce, including in management roles. At the same time, we continued to invest in learning and development, with an average of 40 hours of training per employee, ensuring our team is equipped to navigate a rapidly evolving MedTech landscape.

During the year, we also initiated a team reorganization process aimed at improving clarity, fairness, and efficiency across the organization. This ongoing effort reflects our commitment to building a more transparent and scalable structure that supports long-term growth. Alongside this, we continued to prioritize employee well-being and engagement, reflected in strong satisfaction levels across the team, as well as initiatives that promote work-life balance and a positive workplace culture. Beyond our internal environment, we also reinforced our commitment to the community through volunteering, donations, and participation in educational and industry events, contributing to a broader positive social impact.

Strengthening Governance and Trust

Operating in a highly regulated environment, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, integrity, and transparency.

In 2025, we maintained compliance with key international standards, including ISO 13485, and achieved ISO 27001 certification for information security. At the same time, we continued to reinforce our approach to ethical artificial intelligence and data protection, ensuring that our technology is developed and deployed responsibly.

This strong governance framework continues to support the trust placed in us by healthcare professionals, partners, and stakeholders worldwide.

Five Years of Sustainability

Since the publication of our first Sustainability Report in 2021, our approach to sustainability has steadily evolved.

What began as a structured effort to improve transparency and compliance has become a core component of our strategy, shaping how we develop our technology, manage our operations, and engage with the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Over these five years, we have strengthened our ESG practices, aligned our reporting with European standards, and reinforced our commitment to creating long-term value through responsible innovation.

As we move forward, our focus remains clear: to continue advancing innovation in healthcare while ensuring that sustainability remains embedded in everything we do.

In 2026, we will continue to improve the efficiency of our infrastructure, complete our organizational initiatives, and further strengthen our social impact and stakeholder engagement. At the same time, we remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and governance.
